The third and last installment in my Pyropolis series. In 2009 Dave Nada changed electronic music while DJing a high school house party when he slowed down Afrojack's dutch house remix of 'Moombah' to 108bpm. I was instantly hooked and over the next few years, I collected the slow beginnings of Moombahton tracks as they came out. The year before I experimented one lazy afternoon at Flipside with a Moombahton set and I watch as people we’re subconsciously drawn in to dance and enjoy the beats. This is the set that I played for the Amalgam Coast's Dance Dance Like There Is A Gypsy In Your Pants / Tiki Happy Hour party because I wanted to bring something new. It was a great success as the music, crowd, gourmet drinks and atmosphere melted together to make a magical night.
